Add your times to an event
29 October 2026
Open the event’s link, type your name and mark the times you’re free. Every change saves by itself, so there’s no button to press at the end. If you open the link again in the same browser, your name and times are already there.
Type your name
- On the Your times tab, type your name and press OK. Use the name the group knows you by, because that’s what everyone sees next to your times.
- Mark your times (below). On the right of the same row you’ll see Saving… and then Saved.
You can mark times before typing a name. They stay on the page, with Add your name to save in that spot until you do.
Names are how answers are told apart, and there are no passwords. Typing a name that has already answered, in any capitals, picks up that answer. That’s handy on a second device, but it also means anyone with the link can change yours, so two people called Sam should add a surname.
Mark when you’re free
- Drag across cells to mark a block. A drag that starts on an empty cell marks; one that starts on a marked cell clears.
- Tap a day’s heading to mark the whole day. Tap it again to clear it.
- Tap a time on the left to mark that time on every day shown.
Green means free. Anything left empty counts as not free, so you don’t need to mark when you’re busy.
On a phone, the grid shows a few days at a time; the arrows beside the days move to earlier or later ones. Dragging on the grid marks cells instead of scrolling the page. To scroll, swipe on the hour labels at the left.
Each cell is half an hour. For a meeting that could start at a quarter past, press Expand to 15 min above the grid and mark quarter hours. Back to 30 min switches back without losing anything.
Fill it in from your calendar
If your calendar is on the same device, you can skip most of the tapping. On a computer, take a screenshot of your calendar’s week and press Ctrl V (⌘ V on a Mac) on this page. On a phone, tap Add a screenshot of your calendar. Your busy times are blocked off and the rest is marked free, for you to check.
The screenshot is read on your device and never uploaded. Fill in your times from your calendar shows what makes a screenshot read well, and how to use a PDF or an .ics file instead.
Change or remove your answer
- In the same browser, open the link. Your times are there; change them and they save.
- On another device, type the same name before marking anything, and your earlier times load. If you’d already marked times there, you’ll see “This will update …’s response”, and the new marks replace the old answer.
- On a shared computer, Not you? next to your name lets the next person answer as themselves.
- Clear under the grid empties your times. Undo appears for a few seconds in case you didn’t mean it.
- Remove my response takes your name and times off the event for everyone. It asks first, and only goes ahead when you press Remove.
With a keyboard
Press Tab until you reach the grid, then move with the arrow keys. Space or Enter marks or clears a time, and Shift + Space does the same for that time on every day shown. Each day’s heading is a button that marks the whole day. Screen readers announce every cell with its day, its time and whether you’re free.
